Today's visit to one of the world's biggest glaciers was one of those moments in a lifetime when you can only gaze in awe. Words cannot do the Perito Moreno justice. Those who found the time to pull themselves away from car maintenance duties were amply rewarded. No more words on this one - the spectacle is recorded on the HERO website in event photographer Mike Johnson's photos. Just try to imagine the occasional sound of distant gunfire as you look - a brittle rumble and a crack as another chunk of ages-old ice pulls away to land in the milky blue waters of the lake below. Like the waterfalls of Foz do Iguacu the spectacle of Perito Moreno leaves you awe-inspired - and not a little spoiled for a few days after. Difficult to beat.
